Ripping up carpet...

Thursday night it seemed like a big storm was moving into my city. The sky was really freaky looking, so I knew it was more than likely going to rain. Sure enough it did, but unfortunately it wasn't just a little rain. I live about 5 minutes away from the Illinois River, which isn't a great thing especially when we get so much rain that the damn river floods over.

So Thursday night from about 11:45pm to 10:00am the next morning I spent my time sucking up water from my house and out a window. Ya see my bedroom is somewhat underground, like 3 feet or so. This means I sometimes get some water leaking on the floor.

Basically I didn't just get SOME water leaking in... I got an entire 3-4 inches of water soaking into my carpet. I tried to dry it out the past couple days, even used a Dry Vac on it... no luck. Worst of all it smelt HORRIBLE. River water + rain water does not smell good at all kids, trust me on this one.

So bottom line is that I had to rip up all the carpet in my bedroom (which is new carpet by the way). This is why the site has not updated yet.

Don't worry I am dry now, and looking to update the site very soon. :)

Oh and HEY, Prime 3 comes out Monday (tomorrow)!!!

Hi, I watched your Prime 3 video.
I am Japanese, so I can tell you what Mr. Miyamoto and Mr. Iwata said.

Miyamoto:
Hello? It's Miyamoto. Does anyone who is playing Metroid, hear me? I guess you're having fun. I've taken part in Metroid peojects for many years, and I'm sure this is the best. PLEASE complete the game. Bye.

Iwata:
Hello, it's Iwata from Nintendo. I have no idea I –the chairman– look like, actually it's really hard. People sympathize when someone is really busy and becoming thin, but I am the one who grows fat when busy. As I gain weight, people seem to think that I have too much leisure. This is very disappointing.
